Ambassador, Professor Gabriela von Habsburg is Senior Fellow at Georgian Institute for Strategic Studies in Tbilisi and was Ambassador of the Republic of Georgia to Germany from 2010 to 2013. She is a sculptor and was regular professor at the National Academy of Arts in Tbilisi, Georgia, from 2001 to 2010. She has been visiting scholar at various art academies including BOS-Scheyern, the Academy of Arts of Bad Reichenhall, and the Summer Academy in Neustadt, Germany, as well as numerous art symposiums across Europe and the United States.
Gabriela von Habsburg has had exhibitions in most countries of Europe as well as in North and South America, Asia and Africa. Her sculptures and monuments are to be found in Germany, the USA, Israel, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Russia, France, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Slovenia, the Ukraine and Georgia.
Gabriela von Habsburg received several awards for her work, including the Award of the European Art Union (2004), Award of Masaryk Academy of Arts (Prague, 1995) and the Award for Art and Architecture, Sudetendeutsche Landsmannschaft (Munich, 1991).
