Biographical Data and Professional Experience:

“The maestro of architectural reinforced concrete” as the architectural critics use to call him, Manuel Nunez Yanowsky was born on July 20th 1942 in Samarkand (Uzbek SSSR). Spent his childhood in Odessa. In 1957 his family came back to Spain. In 1961-1965 attended School of Dramatic Art Adria Gual in Barcelona (Spain), department of scenography and directing. From 1970 to 1973 studied at the Central University of Barcelona, Faculty of Archaeology and History, specialization “Ancient Egypt”.

In 1961-1978 Manuel Nunez Yanowsky was Founder and Partner of Taller de Arquitectura in Barcelona. He was heading a multidisciplinary team, specializing in development of architectural and urban concepts in Spain, France, Algeria. He is one of the main figures to create the famous urban concept of “La cuidad en el espacio” (“The city in the space”) and the concept of modular architecture developing in three dimensions, as well as the module proliferation in an urban scale (residential district Barrio Gaudi in Reus, apart-hotel Muralla Roja in Calpe, large residential complex Walden 7 in Barcelona (Spain) and others).

In 1980-1991 Manuel Nunez Yanowsky becomes an architect-entrepreneur in Paris (France). He is heading the team of architects and urban-planners in Paris and working on the projects and realizations of the city ensembles, public buildings and residences in France, Spain, Belgium, Holland, Germany, USSR. Manuel Nunez Yanowsky starts his new professional period with the series of the impressive projects – Les Arenes de Picasso in Paris, new city center of Saint Quentin (France), general plan of the administrative center of Brazzaville (Congo), theatre complex Theatre Lliure in Barcelona, residential district for 20 000 dwellers Omega Bay in Sevastopol and others.

In 1991 Manuel Nunez Yanowsky is founding and heading the SADE SARL (Society of Architects and Developers). SADE SARL is specializing in projects of architecture, construction, territory planning and development in accordance with the requirements of sustainable development, use of contemporary technologies and respective connection to the historical architectural environment in France, Spain, Catalonia, Galicia, Russian Federation, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Turkmenistan, South Korea, Belgium, Congo, Algeria. The most famous projects and realizations of SADE SARL: municipal business and trade center Deribas Hall in Odessa (Ukraine), project of the quay Carre D’or in Moscow (Russia), Quarter De Guise, Dijon (France), and others.
