Professional Experience:
During Lev Partskhaladze’s tenure as the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services, Ukraine has made a leap forward in ease of doing business, jumping from 140 to 30 in the World Bank's rankings for Dealing with Construction Permits. It has also boosted Ukraine's position to 71 in the overall Doing Business ranking.
Over the last two years, the Ministry of Regional Development has been actively engaged in the revision of outdated construction codes, deregulation of the industry and simplification of construction business. In addition, a lot of high priority national projects have been rolled out in the regions of Ukraine. These are the construction of Administrative Service Centers and modern medical clinics in rural areas. At the same time the country has begun to implement a project by the name of New Educational Space in Ukrainian schools and kindergartens.
All of the aforementioned has resulted in more than 600 changes to improve people’s safety and comfort.
